Ebenezer Tackie Oblie is a professional marketer with over 10 years’ managerial positions in sales and marketing. He is presently a Corporate Business Executive (CBE) with Starlife Assurance Limited, one of the biggest insurance Companies in Ghana. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in the United Kingdom and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the institute. He also holds an Executive Certificate in Leadership and Corporate Governance from the International Organization for Capacity Building, London. He previously served as the Branding and Marketing manager for Klein and Brooke, a Branding and marketing firm. He also had experiences working as sales Team leader for Explorer Computers in Accra. Ebenezer also serves as the Executive Director of the Conservative Policy Research Centre, a policy think tank based in Accra. He is a founding member of the Ghana Growth and Development Platform, a member of the Ghana Writers Association as well as the Ghana Readers Association. He has engaged himself in a number of consultancies where he was involved with preparing business plans, marketing plans as well as advertising plans for small to medium scale enterprises. He has also been involved in doing strategic business audits for start-ups as well as arranging for angel capital for a few of them. He has written more than 20 articles on development policy and has contributed to a number of discussion papers and policy briefs. He is currently working on completing an anthology. He is passionate about public policy issues, development, human rights and corporate governance. Ebenezer has skills and experiences in the areas of the leadership, Business planning and strategy development, marketing, branding, research, advocacy, team management, poetry, and organizational development.
